GridwiseTech is the company responsible for the commercial support in the open-source GridSphere project. The basic objectives of the project are to develop a standards based framework for constructing web portals composed of modules called portlets. A set of portlet web applications that work in perfect coherence with the GridSphere framework offer an accomplished Grid portal development solution.

Recent news includes:

  • The release of GridSphere 2.1.2 on December 15, 2005 means a version with new features including a setup portlet when the portal is first installed and it also provides several bug fixes.
  • In order to improve personal contact with developers and users GridSphere has put together a questionnaire available here .
