Networking meeting of GridwiseTech's Customers and Partners

On 19 and 20 January, representatives of GridwiseTech's clients and partners came to our office in Krakow to talk about the perspectives of Grid computing during an informal networking meeting. The guests represented a number of market sectors, such as: finance, medicine, digital repositories, electronic engineering and IT.

On the first day of the meeting the participants discussed the perspectives of Grid computing and the applications of Grid technologies to the needs of particular branches. The second day was devoted to sightseeing of the old Krakow as well as a trip to Wysoka, a 16th century mansion of the Polish gentility. The highlight of the evening was a concert of lute music and polyphonic songs by the hosts themselves, after which the guests returned home inspired and satisfied.
